Southern Oregon Dance Center was originally founded in Grants Pass in 1989 as All That Jazz Dance Studio; and then, after more than three decades, expanded our curriculum and rebranded in late 2020.  Since then our award-winning and internationally-known studio has continued to evolve and remains the Rogue Valley’s  premiere Contemporary dance academy: Southern Oregon Dance Center!

Unparalleled in Southern Oregon, SODC specializes in all of the popular contemporary dance genres including Creative Movement, Kids Combination Classes, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Musical Theater Dance, Technique and Contemporary, with a full Ballet curriculum as well. Classes are taught by our compassionate staff of top dance professionals and choreographers in a nurturing environment where all students are welcome and encouraged to shine.

SODC houses our region’s most accomplished and Award-winning youth contemporary dance companies and competition Production groups… and in 2022 launched the Rogue Valley’s first professional contemporary dance company, Southern Oregon Dance Collective.
